Spain's Digital Nomad Visa
Spain's Ley de Startups (2023) introduced the digital nomad visa for non-EU remote workers. It allows you to live and work in Spain for up to 5 years while working for foreign companies. Combined with the Beckham Law, you can pay a flat 24% income tax instead of Spain's progressive rates (up to 47%).
Requirements
- Non-EU citizen with a remote job or freelance business
- At least 1 year of relationship with your employer/clients
- Maximum 20% of income from Spanish companies
- Minimum income ~€2,520/month
- Health insurance valid in Spain
- Clean criminal record
